Here at Ivan Connections, we’re jumping into the world of mobile apps powered by AI. We’re turning ideas into real apps, facing lots of questions and coding challenges along the way. Let’s talk about our first project, Healtify – it shows just how cool AI can be for making new apps.
What’s Healtify ?
Healtify isn’t just another way to play songs. It’s a mood-boosting music app that uses AI to help you feel better. Right now, it’s in testing, but it already lets you rate how sad songs make you feel. It gives you info about your emotions as you listen.
The app looks at things like how fast a song is, how high or low the notes are, and what instruments are playing. It uses all this to figure out how sad each song might make you feel.
Cool Things It Can Do:
- Tell you how sad a song might make you feel, right away
- Look deep into the music to understand it
- Work smoothly with other music apps you use
- Suggest songs based on how you’re feeling
- Help you set goals to feel better and keep track of how you’re doing
Bumps in the Road
Making Healtify wasn’t always easy. We learned that computers don’t always get what humans like. Things like how much space to leave between stuff or making sure colors stand out – these matter to people, not machines. When we added song words to help the computer learn, it got things right about 88-89% of the time.
We built the app using MAUI (it’s like Xamarin, but newer) and ML.NET for the song part. We picked these because we really like using C#. Our one-person design team did a great job making the app look good – after all, that’s the first thing people notice!
What’s Coming Up?
Healtify taught us a lot. We faced problems, had some wins, and learned tons. We’re already thinking about our next project, but we’re always working on making our AI better at writing code. We want it to be like a coding superhero!
